Killed Some Time

Sam and I went to Harris Teeter so she could buy some gelato. I think our trip to the store ended up costing them money, though, since her gelato was $1 and we ate about $8 worth of samples.

Red panda sees the carrot, but is not sure he wants to eat it. I feel you, man. I feel you. This day has suddenly hit a wall and is going by at a glacial pace. Perhaps I should try staring at a carrot like this guy and contemplate the meaning of life.

I'm watching Baggage and one guy's baggage was that he LIVES in a port-a-potty. He got dared to live in there for a month, after which he gets $3k. And you know what? The girl chose THAT guy over the guy who watches movies instead of listening to music on car rides!!

I was in my pajamas trying on the hiking boots I bought when they guy knocked on my door. I figured it was Terry, so I opened the door and it was a delivery guy who looked a little bewildered that I'd be wearing pajamas with ONE hiking boot (the other foot has a mosquito bite on it). He was a good sport about it, though, and I brought the flowers inside.

I have no idea why I'm still awake. This is supposed to be my best talent! Dr. Upsters has long since gone to bed. I hope you have, too.

I couldn't keep putting up cute puppy pictures without including my favorite puppy again. Tomorrow, this will be us since I get to stay home tomorrow and get some quality time with Dr. Upsters! Very exciting.

Whew! Today I am tired. Meredith and I had an awesome day playing tennis and grabbed some food afterward at some place in Farfax which happened to be next to a Korean BBQ place I never knew about. I could smell it from outside!

I was watching last night's Daily Show this morning, and you will not guess what he referenced. Plato's Retreat! Super funny.

Hope you are having a wonderful morning. I managed to work out (yay!) and have some meetings this afternoon. We ended up cancelling quite a few of them (maybe 3 or 4) so I'm excited. If the weather holds up, I'm going to play tennis with Meredith in Farfax . Teee. Corey came up with that one.

Balloons

I went to Harris Teeter after our million hour meeting session. Their balloon selection is far superior to that of the Safeway near my house. They have *balloons in balloons*! Meanwhile at my Safeway, no one was there, so I went behind the desk myself and rooted through the balloons myself and found the 2 that made their way to you.
